Richfield Township currently has vacancies on the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA). The BZA is a judicial body responsible for reviewing applications for variances, permits, and administrative appeals from the Zoning Inspector.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing, hearing, and deciding on variance applications and appeals
- Attending quarterly meetings
- Reviewing site plans and related documentation in advance of hearings
- Hearing testimony from applicants and residents
- Rendering decisions based on the criteria established in the Township Zoning Resolution
Qualifications & Compensation:
- Must be a resident of Richfield Township
- Members receive a stipend for each BZA meeting attended
